We are looking to hire an experienced, board-certified MD/DO who is passionate about proactive care and is certified in functional or integrative medicine.
We are seeking a physician who will deliver remarkable patient care through a combination of alternative and conventional treatment modalities. Applicants should be comfortable working with the following disease states: autoimmune disease, gastrointestinal issues, chronic cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, thyroid health, disease prevention, and hormone health.
Clinical Role:
- See patients in-person and/or virtually using the technology platform provided by the practice
- Provide excellent, personalized patient care according to the guidelines provided by the practice
- Participate in patient care program development
- Assist in the answering and resolution of patient inquiries and requests
- Complete charting in a timely and accurate manner
- Follow organizational policies, procedures, and protocols
- Represent Spruce MD in the local and broader community
- Participate in Spruce MD events, social media presence, and writing blog posts
Requirements:
- MD or DO license
- Board certification in internal medicine, family medicine, or other primary care field

The Opportunity:
Spruce MD Integrative Medicine is looking for a part-time/full-time Registered Dietitian with a Sports Nutrition focus to join our team. This position is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, planning, and providing nutritional counseling and education to clients as well as enhancing the performance of competitive and recreational athletes. Primary responsibilities include counseling individuals on daily nutrition for performance and health; translating the latest scientific evidence into practical sports nutrition recommendations; tracking and documenting outcomes of nutrition services; providing sports nutrition education for health/wellness programs, athletic teams, and community groups; and maintaining professional competency and skills required for professional practice.

Responsibilities:
Perform consultations:
- Coordinate nutritional care of clients by completing nutritional assessments.
- Assess and diagnose the nutritional status of clients.
- Perform InBody assessments and interpret results.
- Provide general nutritional education concerning weight management, blood sugar stabilization, gut health, and more as applicable.
- Recommend individual plan/protocol for clients, including home nutritional care regimen, recipes, and meal planning options for maintenance of nutritional health.
- Develop, implement, and monitor nutrition adherence through follow-up appts, referrals, and coordination of care with other health care providers as applicable.
- Provide direct care under the supervision of the physician and within the guidelines of written protocols.
- Performs within the scope of training and certifications/licensure.
- Record documentation of client diagnoses, nutritional plans, and recommendations in computer database.
- Assists in Spruce education and development of future nutritional programs. Participates in professional training programs and/or organizations to remain current in the industry.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
- This is a non-management job that will report to the Practice Manager.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Education: Active RD Licensure in the state of SC. Bachelor’s degree in clinical nutrition, food and nutrition, or related area, granted from a U.S. regionally accredited college or university. Master’s degree in nutrition or exercise physiology preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in nutrition counseling, preferably with emphasis on sports nutrition. Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and dietary guidelines.
- Other Skills: Time Management, Strong Oral and Written Communication Skills, Problem Solving

Job Overview:
Spruce MD Integrative Medicine is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our clinical team full-time. This is a dual-role position combining clinical responsibilities with front-office coordination. We’re looking for someone who is certified, skilled in phlebotomy, and dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care in a warm and professional environment.
Schedule:
- M–TH: 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM
- F: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Location: Greenville Office (In-Person Only)
Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Perform phlebotomy, collect and process lab specimens.
- Take and record vital signs, update patient medical histories.
- Prepare exam rooms and assist with procedures as needed.
- Administer injections and vaccinations under provider direction.
- Send in prescription refills under provider direction.
- Help review and manage incoming provider messages; respond or delegate as appropriate
- Support providers during in-office visits to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain clinical supply inventory.
Patient Coordination Duties:
- Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner.
- Assist with billing and payment processing, including collecting outstanding balances.
- Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information to patients.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient follow-up.
- Maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA.
- Manage mail, packages, and office supplies.
- Help foster a positive and efficient front office environment.
- Communicate practice updates and patient instructions effectively.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry and document prep.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
- This is a non-management job that will report to the Practice Manager.
Qualifications:
- Certification Required: Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
- Phlebotomy Experience Required
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ year in a medical office or patient-facing healthcare role.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Time management and multitasking ability
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
- Comfortable with EHR systems and general office software
- Problem-solving and team collaboration
